Adapted sport

Our website will donate 20% of all profits raised to an organisation that works with disabled sportsmen and women.

In my
experience

As a sportsman and coach throughout the many years that I have been involved in sport, I have always been struck by a quality in athletes and that is the ‘fighting spirit’ on and off the pitch, trying to overcome all those adversities and all those bad moments that we have had to live through as sportsmen and women. A simple injury, which left us sidelined for a few days, seemed insurmountable. For all the disabled sportsmen and women who face this ‘injury’ on a daily basis, we would like to send a small but sincere acknowledgement.

For
those people

who is not familiar with this world, adapted sport is a type of regulated physical activity that tries to make sport possible for a certain group of people with some kind of disability or impairment, either because a series of adaptations and/or modifications have been made to carry out this practice or because the sport itself allows it to be carried out. It consists of adapting the different sports to the possibilities of the participants or creating specific sports, practised by people with: physical disability, mental disability or sensory disability.

EVERYONE’S

COLABORATION

of all is essential

so that the offer of sporting practice reaches everyone who wants it, without exclusions. Adapted sport means the possibility of access to those people who, in normal sporting conditions, would not be able to do so, and in this way, it allows them to carry out physical and sporting activity, both in the recreational and competitive aspects.

“Every time you enter a page through our links and make a purchase, you are also doing your bit for the world of sport and disability”.

This site works through ‘affiliate marketing’,

a system whereby an affiliate recommends services or products in exchange for a commission per sale. You help a company promote its product and for this, you get a small percentage of the sale price. As you can see at the top of the page, our website will donate 20% of all profits collected to a sports organisation that works with disabled athletes. The selected organisation will receive the aid for a period of four months, once this time has elapsed, we will proceed to choose another organisation.
